This spring Skultuna has teamed up with Willem Andersson, one of the most talented Swedish artists of today. In the picture world of Willem Andersson there is another world moving inside the world. It is translated, interpreted, projected and re-formulated into something indefinable and unrecognisable. Although we are occasionally allowed to see straight through the people portrayed we cannotalways see what lies behind. Willem Anderson’s graphical art has been transferred on to a very Swedish material; heat moulded and laminated birch veneer. A functional, sustainable and environmentally conscious product.
